When I came to San Diego, I took several sewing classes and collaborated with UCSD as a research assistant at the same time. Eventually, I found a job in a tailor shop where I spent seven wonderful years doing what I loved.
After I lost that job, I went through stress and depression. A few months later, I found a seamstress position in a company. While working there, I discovered something powerful: sewing wasn’t just a skill for me, it was therapy. It helped me feel calm, focused, and inspired.
That’s when I started thinking about building my own business and teaching sewing skills to anyone interested.
Today, my dream has come true. You can visit my tailor shop and learn sewing skills in a warm, welcoming environment, experience the same sense of peace and creativity that sewing has brought into my life.
